One of the things I love about being a newbie author is finding a community of authors doing the same thing I’m doing.

We may be in completely different genres, but we’re all telling stories and trying to find the readers who will love those stories.

One of the tools I’ve been using (for several different things) on my author journey is BookFunnel. And one of the features BookFunnel offers are “swaps.”

I can find a category that my novella “The Ruin of Ehslyng” fits, and I get to join a bunch of additional authors whose stories fit that category, and then I get to offer all of those — for free — to my readers. It’s a great way to get more eyes on my stories and find fun new-to-me books and authors (without breaking my budget!).

This month, “Ehslyng” is in two promotions: one for stories featuring strong female protagonists, and the other for not-so-cozy reads.
