It’s already August! Which means (dun, dun, dun!), “In the Shadow of Secrets” goes live this month! (!!!) Next week, actually. (!!!!!)

The book is done: manuscript and art are all uploaded to Kindle for my Aug. 15 launch date. So that’s the success I’m celebrating this month.

I have two goals for August:

1. TELL PEOPLE ABOUT “In the Shadow of Secrets.” It’s a good story. I had fun writing it. But I want more people than just me to enjoy it, which means I need to talk about it! Why is that so hard? I have no idea, but it is. I can talk about it as a “work in progress,” but the “please check out my book” part feels like pulling teeth. So my goal is to pull the dang teeth and talk about my book!
2. Finalize “On the Edge of Truth” (next one in the series). I really want to release this one on Sept. 1, but given the amount of adjustments I’ve made to this draft already, that date might be a little ambitious. That said, it’s good to have goals!
