I got into writing because I love reading (go figure!). As much as I’d like to say that I skip reading to focus on my writing, I would be LYING. I never skip reading. So here’s a quick peek at what other worlds I’ve been losing myself in lately:

“The Chronicles of Elantra,” by Michelle Sagara. Yes, I did recently reread ALL of these, just so I could be completely up-to-date when diving into the most recent book, “Cast in Atonement.”

These books are no spice (really, no romance at all) with a strong and intuitive, but not book-smart, heroine. Sagara’s books can get a little long in the magical theory explanations, especially in the middle of high-stakes moments, but I enjoy them, none-the-less.

What books have you been diving into lately? I’m always open to suggestions!
