It’s been a while! Mostly because I have learned that I can’t do all things all the time.
That doesn’t, however, mean I haven’t been writing (and plotting … always with the plotting!).
“The Sorcerers’ Bargain” is done! And by “done,” I mean my initial draft has been completed, edited and is now being updated with all the changes I need to make. One of which is a new title! “The Sorcerers’ Bargain” has become “To Kill the King.”
And no, that wasn’t because I struggled with that stupid apostrophe (yes, I *know* where it’s supposed to go, but my fingers refused to get it right on the first try). “To Kill the King” better describes the villainous arc of this short story (which might become an actual novel by the time I’ve finished it), because this story is all about my villains. (Mwah-ha-ha!)
I’m really pleased with the way this story is evolving, and my goal is to be done with the revisions right after Thanksgiving.
I will be searching for Beta readers in the not-too-distant future, so if you’re interested in getting a sneak peak, please sign up for my newsletter!
You can also keep up with what’s happening in The Sundered Realms over on my Facebook page, so give me a like there, as well!
